Światowej sławy włoski tenor Andrea Bocelli wystąpił w niedzielę wielkanocną z wyjątkowym, transmitowanym w internecie recitalem stojąc w pustej katedrze w Mediolanie. Ten niezwykły koncert był jego modlitwą i otuchą dla świata, zmagającego się z pandemią. Przed występem Bocelli przytoczył słowa świętego Augustyna: „kto śpiewa, modli się dwa razy”. Dodał, że jego koncert, złożony wyłącznie z pieśni religijnych, to modlitwa za świat. Recitalowi Bocellego towarzyszyły zdjęcia z pustych miast świata, od Mediolanu i Wenecji po Nowy Jork.
On Easter Sunday (April 12, 2020), by invitation of the City and of the Duomo cathedral of Milan, Italian global music icon Andrea Bocelli gave a solo performance representing a message of love, healing and hope to Italy and the world.
